If life is my witness

Love is my song

If nothing means no one

Then fuck the maddening

If fear conquers easy

I can lead on

Milk from the flower

Blood from the dawn

So here we are

Upon your stage

The laughs we shared

The dreams we saved…

Blessed my weakness

Blessed my wrongs…

As hate forms the sequence

Of one by one…

As freedom die easy

We suffrage the want

There’s clouds in my shower

And ghosts in my arms…

So here we are

Upon your stage

The love we share

The dreams we’ll save….

The love we share

The life we made…

And hearts untouched by hearts unloved….

  5. I absolutely loved this one! The second half of the poem just breaks your heart, know? What can you do, love is like that and sometimes it takes more than it gives. Loved it through and through. 🙂
