Those Moments

Thinking about the times

we had

when we loved each other.

I wish we could rewrite those

 moments

and erase the ugly past that drove us

apart so we can experience the new love

gifted to us for all time.

I want to use this opportunity to thank my readers for their support in every way. it is always a pleasure when I know my blog posts are delivered to those that need it and visiting blogs that contribute a great deal. I have a more busy schedule at this moment and it hinders me putting down what comes to my heart at the time I should and the way I want to. I would be away for a couple of weeks to get things in order.

Have a great week and stay happy.

Bound By Love

Times we were together

Years of pain and joy

Without a care in the world

Now years apart

But still bound by love

Never to loose

 the memories we cherish

Couples Who Don’t fight

I have often wondered If there are real couples who don’t get into clashes with each other; I have also realized that a relationship or marriage without arguments gets boring. Even while you are having the best of times, you argue about everything under the sun.

From my observation and research, I have been able to come up with a list of couples who don’t fight.

  1. Those who are pretentious, full of resentment and liars.
  2. The ones who leave apart or rarely see each other.
  3. Those who mean nothing to each other.

You might have seen couples that look like they don’t engage in conflicts but, the secret is that they do and are superb at it… They have worked on it over time and have developed strategies and armors on how to fight effectively and efficiently without washing their dirty laundry in public.

A strong marriage requires two people who choose to love each other even on those days when they struggle to like each other- DaveWillis.Org

It’s not a fairy tale when you decide to share your time and space with another human, in fact, it could get annoying seeing the same person doing the same thing repeatedly but because of the affection and devotion you have for the other individual, you are willing to make things work out between yourselves.

There will always be arguments from time to time and after you reconcile, the bond gets tighter. What matters most is to ensure you argue constructively by communicating your feelings, thoughts, and opinions in a respectful and mature manner.

Fighting is part of a healthy relationship, but sincere and open communication beats conflict; who says anyone can be happy all the time? Disagreements help you learn something new about each other.

Behind every couple lies two people who have fought hard to overcome all obstacles and interference to be that way. Why? Because it’s what they wanted- Kim George

Success Starts With You

Success is liking yourself,

liking what you do,

and liking how you do it- Maya Angelou

Everyone wants to become outstanding in life. It’s interesting how we focus our minds on the products of achievement but not on how to find our paths to the spot. How do you think someone worth multimillion dollars nailed this status; appear on social media platforms, and places where successful people are known?

Part of what makes us human is that we wake up every day and have one motive in mind- TO FEED. Maslow’s hierarchy focuses on the various levels of human need, once the basic and physiological demands are met (food, water, safety, affection, and esteem), a man works hard to climb to the next stage but the fundamental is getting to the level of self-actualization where success is the ultimate.

How do we become successful?

  1. Believe in you (Self Love).
  2. Aim Higher.
  3. Get out of your comfort zone.
  4. Grab a bag with a mission.
  5. Stand out from the crowd.
  6. Focus.

Actualizing this factors doesn’t confirm the certainty of you becoming wealthy overnight; it’s a gradual process where you take a step at a time alongside patience. Whatever definition of success you have in mind depends on what your goals are but in anything you do, remember to stay happy and not sacrifice your soul for success.

World Around Me

O ye world!

I was created.

Lost and found in you.

I urge you to heed to my call, reveal to me in white and black

the significance of you.

See where you place me; it’s a question of I’m I satisfied or rather,

where I place myself; do you agree with me?

O ye world!

Why do you shed tears? anger boiling; raging fire emitting,

consuming everything and nothing in your path.

I demand answers to why…WHY

I marvel in you, so as I despair; I rejoice just as I hustle in pain.

I want to dry your tears but I am only human wanting to survive, to be someone, to be who I was created to be…

Do I have a chance to be all I was meant to be before the apocalypse

or before I exit?

O ye world!

Cry no more because I love you as my father loves you.

Love Omen

My will drawn before my eyes

As I see your heart pounding

in my hands

My life tattoed in your palms

so I could never leave

I eat your soul as I drink your blood

So that you are mine for all eternity

Life after life I wait

So that you could rise again

The volcanic love that should never be

But will be, to consume

and

seal the missing pieces of our destiny

How Do I Overcome Pain Of Rejection

I know how it feels to be rejected because it’s like being stabbed. The pain is so intense; you feel the urge to close your eyes and end it right there. I’ve been turned down many times in my life, in all areas such as in relationships, educational affairs, friendship…. name it. Not that they hated me but life has a way of pushing us around to mold us together to become stronger, independent, upright and be who we should be.

The pain of rejection is something we have all felt on many occasions, no matter how much we try to avoid it, trust me it’s inevitable and then we ask ‘why me’??

We feel rejected when we underestimate ourselves,

Have high expectations from people,

Have low esteem and fear criticism…

All this is normal but when it keeps going on in a vicious circle, then I would say “that’s bad for your health.” No one is built in perfection but everyone has the space to accept good, sensible correction to be a better person.

To overcome the pain of rejection is one of the most difficult things to do but I conquered it and there’s been no turning back. I’ve discovered the freedom of expression it brings, confidence in love affairs, the charisma that attracts genuine people and success.

How do I overcome pain of rejection

In a short sentence, to overcome the pain of rejection and flee from it – DEFINE WHO YOU ARE…

Caring about what people think of you is useless.

Most people don’t even know what they think of themselves.
