My True Companion

In the journey of life, I met you,

Never searched your soul,

I looked into your eyes, what I saw was beautiful,

All I knew was that you were my companion.

I embraced you, loved you, and learn’t from you,

You thought me, accepted me, and shared with me.

Knowing fully well that someday we will get to the destination,

When we get to the end of the journey,

I will breath a sigh of satisfaction;

Knowing fully well that we shall meet again in another world.

It came to me that every time I loose a dog, they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart, If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are- Unknown

Summer Is Here Again

I remember last summer when I was indoors the whole period. I Couldn’t feel the bright hot sun on my skin, too sick to move an ounce of muscle, mum was by my side the whole time, getting me fed, and flushing down all types of dugs down my throat, yuck..

At last, the long awaited summer is here,  It’s time to groove, I no longer have to kit myself up in my winter jacket in bed, now I’m free like a bird. Yeepee…”summer, summer, summer, time, it’s summer time”.. whistling.

Open The Door Let Me In

I have flown thousands of miles to find you. I knocked down so many obstacles before I could get to you. Will you let me in to become your hero?

You called out for me and I heard you, I am here to relieve you of your pain. I’ve been knocking for days knowing you are here; everyday I hear you slip down and cry…

Cry no more for I have come. I heard you-Open the door and let me in. Do not fear, don’t doubt me, I will protect you. I will wipe your shame away, I will keep you in my haven until the air is safe for you to breath in again…
