Tears From My Soul

Tears fall, my heart ablaze,
The war rages on, day after day.
As humanity turns on itself,
The light is fading in our souls

The devil laughs, his grip grows tight,
Rejoicing in mankind’s fall.
Compassion dim and frail,
Where kindness seems to fail.

How has man allowed darkness to reign?
Why do we heed its call?
Each choice, each right, an excuse to be cruel,
Hearts are growing cold, forsaking the rule.

I weep, my heart cries out in pain,
For mankind to let the light shine in,
To open doors for heaven’s reign,
And let true peace begin.

Stop the darkness in your heart,
Be still and end the killings,
Let love and mercy lead the way,
And step into the light.

Peace In My Heart

I sought for peace in restless days,
In shadows thick with fear,
And silence held me tight,
But now I’ve found this sacred gift.

In the stillness of my soul,
A mantle of unshakable calm,
Through storms, it holds me true,
An anchor in life’s tempest waves.

This peace that passes human thought,
A gift from heaven’s hand,
In gentle, quiet flowing,
In God’s sweet grace, I stand.

John 14:27 – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Embracing the New Season

Just as the earth goes through seasons, our spiritual lives do too. There are times of sowing, times of waiting, and times of harvest. When we invite Jesus into our lives, we enter a season of growth and renewal. He brings new beginnings, fresh perspectives, and a sense of hope that only he can provide. According to John 15:4-5 (NIV):

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.”

Staying connected to Jesus throughout the seasons of sowing, waiting, and harvesting is crucial. It requires patience, but this patience ultimately yields fulfillment.

Small Gifts Leading to Greater Rewards

Life has moments where we overlook the seemingly small and insignificant things that come our way. When God gives us something small, He builds our faith, patience, and stewardship, preparing us for the beauties of life. So please stay faithful, and be anxious for nothing.

It may appear challenging and insignificant but understand that He values our efforts to utilize and cultivate what He has given, regardless of its size. By faithfully managing the small things, we create an opportunity for God to bless us with greater blessings and responsibilities.

With small gifts, the character grows,
Preparing me for blessings that overflow.
An invitation to grow and soar,
To embrace with diligence.

A journey of a thousand miles,
a single step begins,
In the smallest seeds,
the bigger harvest spins.

I am trusting in God’s timing.
For in these beginnings,
His best plans unfold,
Leading to blessings a thousandfold.

Facing Hard Truths

I remember when I was young and thought all sorts of religions and belief systems would ultimately lead us to God. Listening to a morning devotion through an application on my phone called “Glorify” reminded me of this bias in the world.

In the Bible, Jesus unequivocally declares, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). His life, death, and resurrection are understood to be the ultimate revelation of God’s love and grace. Faith in Jesus is the only means of reconciliation with God and eternal life.

In the vast expanse where shadows roam,
A voice echoes, clear as a bell’s tone.
“I am the way, the truth, the life,” it cries,
Guiding souls through darkness to brighter skies.

Through valleys deep and mountains high,
This truth endures.
With unwavering faith, we take each step,
In His love and mercy, we find our depth.

Let his guiding light make you whole.
For in Him alone, true freedom lies,
“I am the way, the truth, the life,” He cries.
