Give Me A Word

Give me a word…

It ponders, swirling like the whirlwind

Imagination tiggering In a directions

Speaking in my head, excitement happening

Certainly verified.

Give me a word’

That was exactly the thought I had in mind when I got out of bed this morning. It’s the begining of a new week which appears to be promising with the sun shining bright through my window.

So many ideas pouring out wanting to be written down but I will take them one at a time because it’s the dawn of new beginnings.

‘Give me a word’

I pray and asked the good lord to give me the word out of all words that will set me apart this week and attract everything I need to know…knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

A word mearnt for me only just as you ask for a word mearnt for you to set you apart….just you.

Lily Of The Valley

Seeing the beauty of the works of life

Radiating through the souls of radiance

Oh my Lily of the valley

From afar the doors of sadness that were left ajar

Have been shut permanently for me to see no more

Ugliness trailed my path while I lived

Oh my Lily of the valley

Your devouring strenght that breaks all boundaries

There you unleashed your awesomeness

Just to fill me with the peace I deserve.

Please Don’t Take My Sunshine Away

When I love, I love wholeheartedly, when I cherish, it’s for life. Please don’t take my sunshine away.

The other night dear, as I lay sleeping

I dreamed I held you in my arms

But when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken

So I hung my head and cried

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

You make me happy when skies are gray

You’ll never know dear, how much I love you

Please don’t take my sunshine away

I’ll always love you and make you happy

If you will only say the same

But if you leave me and love another

You’ll regret it all some day

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

You make me happy when skies are gray

You’ll never know dear, how much I love you

Please don’t take my sunshine away

I’ve always loved and made you happy

And nothing else could come between

But now you’ve left me and love another

You have shattered all of my dreams

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine

You make me happy when skies are gray

You’ll never know dear, how much I love you

Please don’t take my sunshine away

Love In The Bottle

Across the big blue ocean

Sailing away the heartbreaking turmoil

Looking desperately for answers

How many times must I run far away?

How far must I go in search?

I live love in the bottle

Set it in motion thousands of miles to you

To tell you I can’t live without you

How many times must I sit here and cry?

I sealed love in the bottle

So that when I die

My love will still exist

And there will be no more questions to ask….

Triumph At The End Of The Road

Struggling through the edges of discomfort

Riding on the rough road of potholes

The rickety vehicle all clogged up with filth

Skin torn from thick spikes on leaves in the forest

Triumph at the end of the road

Not just a winner from survival

But a grateful conqueror who knows no bounds
