I had a conversation with a woman in her late seventies, we got deep into it and she told me she has spent so many years on this earth travelling and doing all sorts, yet she hasn’t seen it all, then she added to it by saying ‘You don’t get to see everything no matter where you are.’
Her words reminded me of how naïve we can be when we say we’ve seen it all, if only we could control our thoughts as well as actions.
No matter how many thousand miles we’ve travelled
Regardless of where we have been and what we’ve seen
It doesn’t matter how wise or intelligent we are
It makes no difference if we are young or old
We don’t get to see everything in this world.

I don’t have the desire to see it all. I have a few places that I’d like to see in person. If I get to see them one day, fine, if not, I’m ok with it, too.

Same here Rob 😁 in as much as it’s a great wish to see it all, it’s completely impossible but I will have fun seeing the few I’m able to.
