Beauty Of My Life

Deep down below

Dirt smeared all over

The dead of the night struck me

But morning arose to heal me

Beauty became me.

Challenges have kept us gasping for breath, we’ve held tightly onto our dear life; sometimes closing my eyes to sleep at night is like terror about to unleash in the dream and eat my brain. I know everyone has a story to tell but surely different from that of others and we can’t even tell it all.

The outstanding thing is that we are alive today, never to fear death but the will to recognize the full worth of life and always resist the temptation to commit suicide. I have seen hell while on earth but through it all; I stood my ground with the passion to enjoy living; being a blessing to those around me and turned my back on negative people surrounding me. Appreciating the beauty of life is the beginning of wisdom.

My Favourite Colour

God created this world beautifully and endowed earth with various colours which ranges from yellow, green, blue, white purple, red, pink.

Colour can serve as a symbol of various culture and personality. The symbolic representation of colour pertaining to an individual is very interesting. My favourite colour is green which is the colour of life, nature, fertility, energy and environment.

Green is everywhere, it’s nature and I think it’s the most common colour in the world since we are surrounded by nature,”the plants” it’s the colour of balance that gives us ability to love unconditionally.

Do you know your favourite colour? Here are some colour representations according to my findings in Google:

Red: colour of fire and blood, it’s associated with war, danger, strength, passion, desire and love.

Yellow: colour of sunshine associated with joy, happiness, energy and cheerful things, children most especially love this colour.

Blue: colour of the sky and sea associated with depth and stability, and symbolises faith, truth, confidence and wisdom.

Purple: colour of royalty, symbolises nobility, luxury, power, creativity and magic….interesting colour.

Green: colour of nature as described already.

Pink: it’s a delicate colour that is associated with romance, nice, cute, sweet, little girls, flowers and universal love of oneself and of others.

White: associated with purity, peace, cleanliness, and light. White depicts faith and conqueror of darkness…that’s according to Eddaz…

You Don’t Get To See Everything

I had a conversation with a woman in her late seventies, we got deep into it and she told me she has spent so many years on this earth travelling and doing all sorts, yet she hasn’t seen it all, then she added to it by saying ‘You don’t get to see everything no matter where you are.’

Her words reminded me of how naïve we can be when we say we’ve seen it all, if only we could control our thoughts as well as actions.

No matter how many thousand miles we’ve travelled

Regardless of where we have been and what we’ve seen

It doesn’t matter how wise or intelligent we are

It makes no difference if we are young or old

We don’t get to see everything in this world.

The Only True Love

He came from heaven to Earth

To show us the way

Shed his blood on the calvary

To save me….To cleanse us

How magnificent that he rose up again

After such painful death

To live forever

To shower us with the only true love

To declare us free from sin when seeked

Easter is the begining of freedom

A day to rejoice that Christ lives forever….

Uneven-Thunderous loving Emotions

Rolling around in the midst of lightening.

My love for you beats thunderously on the walls

Of my chest in an uneven rythm. Everyone falls in love sometimes.

I have submitted wholeheartedly, I have gotten to my destination, the place I want to be.

Where I want to lay; in your arms, on your Bossom. Here I will love you, never to let go but to care for you, father our kids untill death do us apart.

I promise within my power to be yours in all conditions.

Your partner in heaven and on earth.

We shall make things work out, regardless of the raging storms yet to come.

They will not part us, they shall not hurt us, they can’t seperate us.

Because my love for you is not a sweet aroma that will fade away but a permanent mark in your life that can’t be washed away nor wither- Eddaz

Season of Green

Greener glow in green.

Thick bark, proud I look to the world,

Tree standing tall among all

Comforter! provider! flawless!

Healer of the sick, richness to the poor.

Darkness descended; forces I see not,

Shields of disappointments came forth,

I turned yellow! I fell! I dried up!

Oh! The pain; all covered in shame I was

Tears I could not shed

Death beseeched me.

Out of the corners of the earth,

A loud sound came; Fear not, ye cried,

Shaft of light glistered from the depth,

Whom I know not came forth.

Thirst I feel no more; downcast no more.

I turned up from earth to the sky again,

I stood out, greener than before,

Tiny tots I bear again! again! again!

Nay he says, the end comes for you not.

You are greener I say; always greener will be.

Graceful in Survival

I am forever grateful

Living in a world of uncertainty

Where the walls are so tall

The zone is troubled

The earth shakes in fear

Yet graceful in survival

I take liberty in vehemence

My heart knows no bounds

Letting go of tagging shackles

Than to embrace the little things

And explore beyond the limits

Until I am fulfilled.

Paul.E.Bailey’s World – The Article of Astronomical Proportions…

Astronomy, cosmos, the sun, moon, star, earth… have been studied for years. Do you think that we’ll ever populate other planets? Earth resources are getting depleted. Find out more from this interesting post by Paul Bailey.

The Adventures of an Average, White Man...©

Some time in my mid-twenties I developed a crazy obsession with astronomy. I mean I went nuts over it.

Professor Brian Cox definitely had a lot to do with it. I can’t fully recall, but I think it was when Wonders of the Solar System first appeared on BBC. I saw it advertised and thought ‘now that sounds interesting; I must give it a watch’. After five minutes I was hooked.

The reason I can’t properly recall whether it was Wonders that got me hooked on astronomy is because I was either into it a bit beforehand, saw it advertised and was keen to watch or Wonders itself awoke my obsession with the subject.

brian-cox-saturn Professor Brian Cox and his no nonsense methods make the basics of astronomy easy for anybody to understand

Regardless, my affinity for the moons, planets and stars awoke within me and I’ve never looked back. Granted…
