Have you had a situation where you found yourself in the pit, screaming out for help to whoever can hear without uttering a word out of your lips? Groaning in pain, self-guilt, and pity for yourself? You seek for a way out but you find all doors locked.

You reach out to the few friends you have but something seems wrong…. they make excuses for not being able to help. If you are in this situation, first thank God for the tough time that has come to visit you because it means whatever hardship you find yourself in will not deter your progress or success in life, it will only toughen and prepare you for the people that will surround you at your greatest moment coming soon.

Now you will know who your real friends are, the ones that love you without judging or condemning you, the ones that want you to progress in life, the ones that feel your pain and will do anything to help you get rid of it.  Just like this quotes say…

  4. Oh my gosh, this is so truely. When part of a church many years ago, we were having a challenging time in which in wife had a miscarriage. That loss caused a downward spiral for both of us, but more for my wife due to the miscarriage. Most of our church friends abandoned us as they felt we where too much of a burden given the situation we were in. Two people stuck by us through it all. The rest of the them, nope!!

  16. I have experienced this first hand. That’s why I love my few friends so much. I know that are hard to come by and mostly because I know they are gifts from God. I say all the time. There is nothing like having someone you can share your insecurities and fears with and know it won’t go any further than that.

  21. Friends are funny things. They’re there, then they’re not. They’re amazing, then they’re bastards! You never really know what’s coming with friends. That’s why you should hold on tight to the ones you know are true and have your best interests at heart.

  27. I truly agree with you! I know who I can depend now. There were only a few who were ready to listen when I had a difficult situation with my mom. I was shocked when some rebuffed me.

  30. The loneliest moments where sometimes you think you need someone else are just times in your life where you need to remember how much you can do for yourself. I remember watching people walk by and feeling very alone. I was readjusting to life at that time after something had happened. I didn’t want to cry. I didn’t want to talk to my so-called friends because I already knew who my real friends were. I could see it through the lack of commitment they had towards me before. I just held on to the hope in my heart and my soul. I prayed that things would get better. I actively learned to do things and keep moving. More appropriate and actual friendships would form if I was patient. You just have to keep the faith.
