Why Rest Is Not Weakness

The world moves fast, but I’ve learned that taking life one day at a time is not weakness—it’s wisdom. I’m choosing to slow down and no longer live in burnout. Working, serving, and staying strong for too long without support slowly drains us in ways we don’t always notice.

We forget that even faith was never meant to be lived in exhaustion. I choose rest, and in doing so, I choose God. When I allow myself to be loved, I heal. And when I stop pushing through burnout, I see that grace carries me when I don’t have the strength.

Renewed Strenghth Each Day

Renewal isn’t always obvious or immediate, but it is happening. The trials we face are shaping us, refining our hearts, and deepening our trust in God. When we focus on our inner renewal, we find courage, peace, and joy that can withstand any challenge. No matter what we see outwardly, God is at work inwardly, strengthening us day by day.

Strength given and made whole,
God, do not take Your Spirit from my soul.
As Christ died for me, Your love sets me free,
Filling my heart with peace eternally.

Through trials and shadows, You light my way,
Your mercy renews me each day.
In joy and in sorrow, in whisper and plea,
Let Your Spirit remain, forever in me.

Not Alone in the Tunnel

In the cold of the tunnel, I trembled in fear,
Not knowing, he was already near.
He held me close and whispered, “Be still,”
“I will fight for you. I always will.”

He broke my chains and lifted my head,
Turning darkness into light ahead.

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” — Psalm 23:4

Unshaken In The Storm

I have faced dread and felt the weight of shame. I have walked through storms that tried to break me, yet I did not bow. There were moments I fell, but the One who gave His life for me stood tall on my behalf.

He fought battles I couldn’t fight. He overcame what I couldn’t overcome. He reminded me that the victory was already won, because he had conquered the world.

In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33

Love Without Limits

It took me a long time to realize that Love is more than a feeling. It’s how we treat others every day. When we show patience, kindness, and forgiveness, we put love into action. It’s in the small gestures, the words of encouragement, and the willingness to serve others that love goes beyond limits.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
