When The Senior Pastor Singles Me Out

When the senior pastor of my church singles me out of the whole congregation of a church to have a word or two with me, what does that mean?

Does that mean God has a mission for me?

Does it mean I’m not spiritual enough?

Do I look unique or bizarre?

Or I’m doing something wrong?

Maybe there is something I ought to be doing but I’m not.

Actually I’m still waiting for the call, I had to write out my mobile number to be called and I sincerely hope It’s for good because that really got me nervous and still in same mode. I hope I get called soon so that I can get over with the anxiety feeling that has covered me like tight clothing.

What If the senior pastor tells me that I have a calling to be a minister or a worker in the church…hmm…that sounds scary even for me. Precisely has anyone done anything for God in any way to please him?

As for me, close to seven years ago I used to be a worker in my former church cleaning the toilets and church area for free, I did it because I had a burden to do so, definitely not for any other reason than that and I would love to do same thing any time my spirit tells me to.

Note that there are benefits of working for God, you might not see it soon enough but with time the blessings run after you when you least expect it.

Lets wait and see…

Retribution OverPowering Punishment

The wrongs of mankind is endless resulting to punishment  and in some cases pardon is given with strict warnings not to repeat the immoral behavior. Isn’t it a wrong doing to condole retribution which is an act of taking vengeance? The lord says in the book of words Deut 32:35 “vengeance belongs to me, In time their foot will slip for their day of disaster is near and their doom is coming quickly.”

Subjecting to retribution believing the ones to be punished are dancing in the rain freely and living in paradise is never the answer.

A broken heart is mended

Made stronger over time

Hold back

For the years of abandonment of the civil

Will ignite the flames that will consume the guilty.

Should We Have Values To Live By

Should we have values to live by?

Values are things we believe are important to us and will do a lot to maintain as part of our daily lives in respect to culture, family, work, religion, habits e.t.c

Do you have values; Good question isn’t it? A lot of us don’t know if we have values much less living by one. Some organisations have one and I bet most of their staff don’t understand it. I have looked around me for years and seen that a large percentage of humans all over the world have no values they live by, some are aware but just don’t give it any thought as to how it will reflect and improve their life so they forego it.

Should we have values to live by

There are so many values to live by as mentioned above and much more, let’s start by picking one of them and see the results, call it a test and see if you pass.

Should we have values to live by? My answer is a big yes. Why? Growth, awareness, love, standard, measurement of success, corrective measures. Having one or two helps us have all these.

What are some of the values I live by? Family value is one thing I don’t take too easily, it’s very important to me, it contributes to growth and love in my life, I can’t live without family values. My cultural values is placed highly too, I can’t forget who I am and where I’m from, it keeps me focused and level headed.

How Do You Stay Away From A Friend

A friend is someone you trust and can rely on, someone to turn to when sad  and in need of support but what if this friend causes more harm than the friendship you desire.

This friend hasn’t been bad influnce on you but somehow induces conflicts of interests; biasing your choice without intentionally doing so and you feel strongly to stay away without making this friend feel bad or detecting anything.

How do you terminate such friendship without feeling guilty even when you believe strongly that’s the only way out to your happiness.
