There is always something to be thankful for even when you are in deep shit, never loose hope but be thankful for everything good and bad.

I thank God for everything in my life, where I’m coming from, where I am today and where I’m heading to, he knows what’s best for me and he’s at work.

I’m thankful for the strength he’s given me to keep moving and I’m never gonna give up.

Thank you dear God for the love I have for you that gives me peace of mind.

My Favourite Colour

God created this world beautifully and endowed earth with various colours which ranges from yellow, green, blue, white purple, red, pink.

Colour can serve as a symbol of various culture and personality. The symbolic representation of colour pertaining to an individual is very interesting. My favourite colour is green which is the colour of life, nature, fertility, energy and environment.

Green is everywhere, it’s nature and I think it’s the most common colour in the world since we are surrounded by nature,”the plants” it’s the colour of balance that gives us ability to love unconditionally.

Do you know your favourite colour? Here are some colour representations according to my findings in Google:

Red: colour of fire and blood, it’s associated with war, danger, strength, passion, desire and love.

Yellow: colour of sunshine associated with joy, happiness, energy and cheerful things, children most especially love this colour.

Blue: colour of the sky and sea associated with depth and stability, and symbolises faith, truth, confidence and wisdom.

Purple: colour of royalty, symbolises nobility, luxury, power, creativity and magic….interesting colour.

Green: colour of nature as described already.

Pink: it’s a delicate colour that is associated with romance, nice, cute, sweet, little girls, flowers and universal love of oneself and of others.

White: associated with purity, peace, cleanliness, and light. White depicts faith and conqueror of darkness…that’s according to Eddaz…

What Are Your Monday Expectations

I learned that the secret to happiness in life is low expectations, luckily for me, I realized this important thing at a young age, and this has stayed with me all through the years. I have faith in God, I believe in myself, but I never expect too much from a situation, people or objects which has led me to appreciate them more.

Nevertheless, I make plans, sometimes they work out as planned and other times, they turn out the other way. Monday has always been the same for me like other days except for Saturday and Sunday. Henceforth I need a plan for Mondays because I’ve realized I always have too much to deal with on that day. Set of rules for me only, goes thus:

-Wake up early with positivity

-Give thanks to God

-walk or run

-Set the target

-Set reminders

-Measure achievements at the end of the day.

This is actually a summarized form of Monday activity for myself. Remember it’s Monday, stay motivated, talk to someone, believe in yourself!

When The Senior Pastor Singles Me Out

When the senior pastor of my church singles me out of the whole congregation of a church to have a word or two with me, what does that mean?

Does that mean God has a mission for me?

Does it mean I’m not spiritual enough?

Do I look unique or bizarre?

Or I’m doing something wrong?

Maybe there is something I ought to be doing but I’m not.

Actually I’m still waiting for the call, I had to write out my mobile number to be called and I sincerely hope It’s for good because that really got me nervous and still in same mode. I hope I get called soon so that I can get over with the anxiety feeling that has covered me like tight clothing.

What If the senior pastor tells me that I have a calling to be a minister or a worker in the church…hmm…that sounds scary even for me. Precisely has anyone done anything for God in any way to please him?

As for me, close to seven years ago I used to be a worker in my former church cleaning the toilets and church area for free, I did it because I had a burden to do so, definitely not for any other reason than that and I would love to do same thing any time my spirit tells me to.

Note that there are benefits of working for God, you might not see it soon enough but with time the blessings run after you when you least expect it.

Lets wait and see…

Cure For Suicide

I have often wondered why people commit suicide but I think what we should be more worried about is the cure…

This can happen to anyone and it starts from depression. I don’t have the cure to suicide, we don’t have the cure to suicide but we can prevent it. HOW?

Anthony Bourdain was found dead in apparent suicide, it’s a very sad news because just a couple of days ago Kate Spade also committed suicide. These two individual are very talented people whom God created to make a statement in the world through the gifts he endowed them with.

May their souls rest in peace and may the good lord strengthen their family at this period of mourning.

I have thought about suicide once and I informed the world indirectly but guess what? My loved ones detected immediately and called me in seconds, they prayed for me and my brother left his family to stay with me, they kept close contact with me because they realised I had gone weak from being one of the strongest in the family….
