The Ark of Gopher Wood

I have been through tough times where I have wondered why everywhere seems so silent and yet noisy in my head. As time passed, I continued to learn to place my trust in God. The Ark of Gopher Wood is a timeless symbol of hope, salvation, and divine protection. Just like Noah, we are called to trust in God’s promises and obey His commands, knowing, that he is faithful to fulfill His words. It serves as a reminder that, even amid life’s storms, God remains faithful to His promises.

Beneath heavens’ weeping eye,
Amidst the flood’s relentless roar,
Echoes of chaos threatened to engulf me,
The noise, the stress, a relentless flood.

Within this storm, I sought sanctuary,
A refuge from the turmoil,
An ark of gopher wood,
A bold vessel sailing me on life’s tumulous sea.

Knowing that God’s grace will carry me,
For in the ark of gopher wood,
I find strength for the journey,
peace for my mind.

Gratitude Walks: A pathway to mindful appreciation

At the heart of our bustling lives or during our lunch break, finding moments of tranquility and gratitude can be a refreshing way to connect with the world and thank God for each day. It’s not just a stroll; it’s an intentional journey towards cultivating mindfulness and thankfulness.

Imagine stepping outside, inhaling the crisp morning, afternoon, or evening air, and feeling the earth beneath your feet. A gratitude walk is an opportunity to unplug from the digital world and immerse yourself in the present moment. As you walk, let your senses awaken to the world around you – the chirping birds, rustling leaves, and the gentle caress of the wind. Each step becomes a chance to appreciate the beauty that surrounds you.

I always walk at locations where I can feel at ease and stay connected to nature, focus on giving gratitude to God, and be present in my mind. I engage my senses in the landscape and soundscape around me, which helps me count my blessings and enjoy the sun’s warmth on my skin. Sometimes, my mind wonders, but I gently guide it back to the sensations of the walk. Consistent gratitude walks help create a connection with your body and mind.

In a world that often seems to move at a fast pace, gratitude walks offer a reprieve – a chance to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the world around us. These walks remind us that life’s simplest pleasures are often the most profound. So, lace up your shoes, step outside, and embark on a journey of mindful appreciation. Your heart and mind will thank you for it.

Tired Of Trying

Tired of using my heart

Stressed out from saying goodbye

Running when I can’t walk

It tastes like honey

even when it’s bitter

You hold onto my mind

I can’t sleep

You are bad

But I love you

I need you and sometimes it kills me

trying to let you go

How can I live without you

How can I love without you

How can I breathe without you

You dey wound me

Lost In The Crowd

Gazing into the distance in seclusion

Where thorns are amongst the grains

Standing in the place ought not to be

Lost in the crowd

The path to freedom dimmed by eclipse

Fading In isolation to the unknown

Lost in the mind

Seeking my path to revelation

Eradicate the gloom blinding the truth

To be amongst the living but not the dead

Passionate Poetry

Reflection of the mind

Pure and special

Extraordinarily compassionate

Outshining the skylight

A passionate poetry for my love.

The one holding the keys to my heart.
