Beauty Of My Life

Deep down below

Dirt smeared all over

The dead of the night struck me

But morning arose to heal me

Beauty became me.

Challenges have kept us gasping for breath, we’ve held tightly onto our dear life; sometimes closing my eyes to sleep at night is like terror about to unleash in the dream and eat my brain. I know everyone has a story to tell but surely different from that of others and we can’t even tell it all.

The outstanding thing is that we are alive today, never to fear death but the will to recognize the full worth of life and always resist the temptation to commit suicide. I have seen hell while on earth but through it all; I stood my ground with the passion to enjoy living; being a blessing to those around me and turned my back on negative people surrounding me. Appreciating the beauty of life is the beginning of wisdom.

Power Descend On Me

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

Lights will shine down creating  paths for me to safety

As I walk down in picking up fallen buds

Power will descend on me strengthening the inner me.

It’s quite unfortunate I have found myself in a place recently where writing and posting has been tough for me, bad internet connection and so called distractions keeps getting in my way….But getting home this weekend once again and seeing the daily post got me thinking….

There should be no hindrances to success, joy and freedom. Take up what is yours, conquer every obstacle in your way and live no room for excuses….eddaz

Have a great weekend lovelies….💞💝

The Only True Love

He came from heaven to Earth

To show us the way

Shed his blood on the calvary

To save me….To cleanse us

How magnificent that he rose up again

After such painful death

To live forever

To shower us with the only true love

To declare us free from sin when seeked

Easter is the begining of freedom

A day to rejoice that Christ lives forever….

Season of Green

Greener glow in green.

Thick bark, proud I look to the world,

Tree standing tall among all

Comforter! provider! flawless!

Healer of the sick, richness to the poor.

Darkness descended; forces I see not,

Shields of disappointments came forth,

I turned yellow! I fell! I dried up!

Oh! The pain; all covered in shame I was

Tears I could not shed

Death beseeched me.

Out of the corners of the earth,

A loud sound came; Fear not, ye cried,

Shaft of light glistered from the depth,

Whom I know not came forth.

Thirst I feel no more; downcast no more.

I turned up from earth to the sky again,

I stood out, greener than before,

Tiny tots I bear again! again! again!

Nay he says, the end comes for you not.

You are greener I say; always greener will be.
