Beauty Of My Life

Deep down below

Dirt smeared all over

The dead of the night struck me

But morning arose to heal me

Beauty became me.

Challenges have kept us gasping for breath, we’ve held tightly onto our dear life; sometimes closing my eyes to sleep at night is like terror about to unleash in the dream and eat my brain. I know everyone has a story to tell but surely different from that of others and we can’t even tell it all.

The outstanding thing is that we are alive today, never to fear death but the will to recognize the full worth of life and always resist the temptation to commit suicide. I have seen hell while on earth but through it all; I stood my ground with the passion to enjoy living; being a blessing to those around me and turned my back on negative people surrounding me. Appreciating the beauty of life is the beginning of wisdom.

Fun Things to Do On Friday Night

It’s Friday once again and I’m ready to swing…

Here is a list of entertaining things you can do tonight to relax, unwind and bring on the weekend mood. For those of us working at night or tomorrow, It shouldn’t impede having fun.

  • Hang out with friends but pleease don’t get drunk and run into trouble.
  • Cuddle up and check out movies with your partner or explore.
  • Eat out at a nice restaurant and meet new people.
  • Go to the theater and see a movie.
  • If you are in the worship mood, it’s month-end so run and boogie in church.
  • Attend a music concert you find passionate.
  • Game night with friends or siblings is cheap but fun.
  • Settling at home isn’t a bad idea, relax or groove alone.
  • Cook for your family (It’s dinner time).
  • Have a pool or beach party with buddies.
  • Visit your parents if you still have one, have a chit-chat and make them laugh.
  • Bowling is amusing, and my favorite.

Life is too short to worry, let’s keep it real and cool by having decent fun and staying happy. Regardless of who you are, what you do or where you live, there are lots of activities to do and places to go that won’t cost much.

Personal Illusion

Don’t waste your time with explanations,

People only hear what

they want to hear- Paulo Coello

I find it confusing at times when I’m trying to explain an occurence to someone but unfortunately the person just looks straight through me or starts talking back contrarily to what I’m saying, which is just an illusion they have themselves created.

So I agree with Paulo’s quote. In conclusion, just do what you got to do, you can’t meet up to people’s requirements especially the ones that aren’t paying attention.

Why Should Your Heart Be Arid

I have written 359 posts since I started blogging on WordPress over two years ago and one of them has somehow stuck to my heart, therefore is now one of my most favorite posts. So far, it’s one of the oldest which I would like to reblog, hence I might probably be reblogging a few of my old favorite blog posts once in a while just as a reminder and also for my new blogger friends to read.

Thank you and enjoy as you read…

When the heart is so arid, so much more that the desert feels better to plant the seed of love.

I wonder what goes through it… Turmoil, bitterness, envy, hatred…Can’t say the least.

Open the heart to love, generosity, kindness, then see how the face transforms into something beautiful that will attract good people, favor and lots more.

The arid heart is the ground that cannot harvest anything good but sadness and loneliness-eddaz.

Why We Are Dating Less In The Real World

Dating is becoming more stressful, tell me otherwise…Heartbreak here and there, disappointment, lies, lack of trust, catfishing…yeah right…catfishing but unfortunately people are dating less in the real world of meeting for the first time instead people are starting to meet online which has led to the risk of catfishing but what are we left with?

Knowing about a person online before showing interest seems emotionally comfortable for lots of people. Post your profile, pictures, hobbies, etcetera etcetera…if you don’t like your match move on quickly before developing unessecessary ties. If you are lucky to meet a good match, do a deep research before taking the next stage. It’s tough doing this in the real world cause emotional ties would have been developed already and gets sickening when you can’t break off without feeling weak.

-I personally tried online dating which was way safer for me, call it what you like but I was never catfished, maybe because I was smart about it or call it ‘lucky me.’

-It’s easier to dig around online before finally meeting the person and cutting off the friendship as soon as possible.

-We are dating less in the real world because from various researches, online dating has paid off for many, and me inclusive, although some have been unlucky; apparently is expected.

– its easier not to develop emotional ties which happens too often in the real world.

-From my own perspective dating less in the real world has more advantages than meeting people face to face. Although I might be wrong, I believe if you are smart about it, it would definitely be worth the effort.

Kindly contribute your opinion, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
