World Around Me

O ye world!

I was created.

Lost and found in you.

I urge you to heed to my call, reveal to me in white and black

the significance of you.

See where you place me; it’s a question of I’m I satisfied or rather,

where I place myself; do you agree with me?

O ye world!

Why do you shed tears? anger boiling; raging fire emitting,

consuming everything and nothing in your path.

I demand answers to why…WHY

I marvel in you, so as I despair; I rejoice just as I hustle in pain.

I want to dry your tears but I am only human wanting to survive, to be someone, to be who I was created to be…

Do I have a chance to be all I was meant to be before the apocalypse

or before I exit?

O ye world!

Cry no more because I love you as my father loves you.

Territory Of Loneliness

If only you could taste my pain,

Feel the bitterness on your tongue.

If only you could hear my tears,

Realise how thundering it sounds.

The poignant grief written on the walls of my heart.

The distressing feeling holding me hostage.

I can’t endure this acute discomfort anymore.

I’ve been banished to the territory of loneliness.

No Folly- Passion Of The Night

Last night…

No one in the world was watching

No one knew of their existence

He takes her clothes off ever so gently,

and she felt happy for the night,

No folly but existence of passion

as she is finally in the room with

what will be her new man…

Adventures of song and grace as the sheets begin to cry…passion and love are the witness of her new adventure in life…

A new feeling comes to mind…and there’s something she is trying hard to sense; “where is the smell and tenderness of that other man in my life…

The one that wrote me poems, and beautiful lovely lines; the one that held me tight on a winter’s cold night…but those thoughts had disappeared, and gone away in time; then why did I have to remember him right at this moment in time…

Marks on the pillow case, tracks of sweat go down her spine; as the night becomes morning and doves begin to fly….

It’s now time to say goodbye to the new man…“I see you soon,” he said, “You’re such great company and it was a wonderful night….she kisses and hug him gently as a tear go down her heart….

The door slams right behind her as she tries to hug the wind….sunshine comes in through the windows as two tears go down her cheeks….

New times of love and emotions, remembrance of what happened last night crossed her mind….“there’s nothing wrong with this man, he’s not just the one for me…”

Season of Green

Greener glow in green.

Thick bark, proud I look to the world,

Tree standing tall among all

Comforter! provider! flawless!

Healer of the sick, richness to the poor.

Darkness descended; forces I see not,

Shields of disappointments came forth,

I turned yellow! I fell! I dried up!

Oh! The pain; all covered in shame I was

Tears I could not shed

Death beseeched me.

Out of the corners of the earth,

A loud sound came; Fear not, ye cried,

Shaft of light glistered from the depth,

Whom I know not came forth.

Thirst I feel no more; downcast no more.

I turned up from earth to the sky again,

I stood out, greener than before,

Tiny tots I bear again! again! again!

Nay he says, the end comes for you not.

You are greener I say; always greener will be.
