Release From Darkness​

When love turns sour

the memories become dark

until the bitterness is no longer felt.

When I realized it was time for me to move on, he came back to tell me how bad he felt about the way he treated me; he said he didn’t know how blind he was until he lost me but now he has found me.

I’ve been so agitated about this situation where he “the werewolf” roared away so full of pride with my heart and came back after so long with it in his hands drained of blood and turning black already, and I kept asking myself how to take my heart back from him and put it where it was before.

However, as soon as he left me in pain and despair back then, he also gave me the gift of hatred which I kept well packaged for him. But over time my heart got filled with newness, youthfulness, and love by another and I thrashed the ugly, sealed packaged.

That was when I gave him the beauty of his act written as a poem which held inscribed words of how he led me by his dark side to where I found peace and heart renewal.

Healing Myself

I’ve been standing on the

treacherous terrain far too long

Been falling in the shallow

But you’ve been there

Pointing me in direction.

I’ve been roaming aimlessly

lost in the darkness

Falling behind.

 The shooting stars

took me on a journey

until I found myself on the other side.

On the hunt for recovery

I found no one to put me on therapy

Then I searched within

And discovered the therapist was me

healing me from inside.

Your Ideal Partner

Destination unknown to reality

Taking me into the depths

of happiness hiding in the darkness.

When the wind drives you in a direction uncertain to you, you wonder why you keep moving along without control; you try as much as possible to fight it but end up in the same path and that’s when you realize that love can take you through different phases in life you least expect.

If you belong to the group of people that make a list of the ideal man or woman they prefer to date, trust me you will end up with no one for a long time. Hence if faith is on your side, you will meet your lover contrary to the list you made up and regardless of how much you remind yourself of your ideal partner, you will keep falling back into the hands of this person who you tag as the unideal lover. So relax and allow faith to take charge and when it happens, accept it and you will discover a better person for you than your ideal partner.

When darkness falls

It seems I’m in the light

When the sun rises

It seems like the moon is shining

I see a shadow tailing after me

I am loosing my mind…

I see you walking to me

Arms stretched out to hold me

And when I want to pull you into my arms

It seems you vanish into thin air

I am loosing my mind…

Have you found yourself in a situation where you were deeply in love and it happened that your loved one is gone forever…you crave to have them back in your life, held in your arms, cuddled together in bed, you try to reach out but they are just gone forever…

Don’t loose it!

You will be fine…they are there watching and loving you wishing for you to move on and be happy.

The good girl only wants to be happy

She was created soft and to just be herself

With an open mind, she sees the world

As a place to love, share, care and live

To bring beauty into the space and spice it up

But of course she gets muddled up

Back in the days when love and respect existed, there was happiness although very few heartbreaks here and there, probably due to family issues.

Good girls were everywhere for the taking to be baptised into marriage and marital life had a path, not so rosy sometimes but it existed.

But now see what we have; all girls have turned bad except a few of us…haha yes I’m one of them good girls…

Dating and marital life is now easily compared to hell in most cases.

Why have they turned bad?

Heartbreak, denial, lies, deception, rejection, sexual harassment at work place, home, name it…

Turned the light into darkness

Dampening their souls

They cry hard when alone

Afraid to live again, to face the world

Hard to love again but to pretend and hurt more.

Do I blame them? NO!! But…

Let’s not allow bitterness creep into our soul..each time we fall, we must rise again to be stronger and wiser so that the generation of good girls that once existed can be back again to retain sunshine- eddaz
