Furnace of Iron

In the crucible of life, change acts as a furnace of iron, relentlessly shaping and refining our journey. Just as iron transforms in the furnace, we evolve through the endings and beginnings that punctuate our existence.

The Bible tells the story of Job, a righteous and wealthy man who faces a series of devastating trials orchestrated by Satan. In the end, According to Job 42: 12-17, God restores Job’s fortunes and blesses him with greater prosperity than before, highlighting Job’s unwavering faith and resilience throughout his trials.

In the furnace’s fiery glow,

iron’s tale unfolds,

leaving me exposed and vulnerable,

ye my spirit rising higher.

Embracing the heat of the flames,

with courage in my heart.

I emerge refined,

In a faith that will never tire.

For in the depths of suffering’s night,

shines the beacon of divine light.

I’ll face each new beginning,

with triumph in my heart.

Facing Hard Truths

I remember when I was young and thought all sorts of religions and belief systems would ultimately lead us to God. Listening to a morning devotion through an application on my phone called “Glorify” reminded me of this bias in the world.

In the Bible, Jesus unequivocally declares, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). His life, death, and resurrection are understood to be the ultimate revelation of God’s love and grace. Faith in Jesus is the only means of reconciliation with God and eternal life.

In the vast expanse where shadows roam,
A voice echoes, clear as a bell’s tone.
“I am the way, the truth, the life,” it cries,
Guiding souls through darkness to brighter skies.

Through valleys deep and mountains high,
This truth endures.
With unwavering faith, we take each step,
In His love and mercy, we find our depth.

Let his guiding light make you whole.
For in Him alone, true freedom lies,
“I am the way, the truth, the life,” He cries.

Trust The Journey

Life can be a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences, with its fair share of challenges and uncertainties. Sometimes, it feels like the burden of the world is on your shoulders, and you wonder if things will ever get better.

In those moments, stepping back from the situation and remembering that everything will be okay is essential. Take a deep breath and reassure yourself to trust the journey and know that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

Let The Tongue Shine

Lyrical power of my prose

In my soul, it’s exhilarating.

I open my mouth singing,

for the

light brightens from within.

The greatness of one word on my tongue

birthing to the rising of the shine.

There is power in the words of our mouth that whatever we utter from it must be with caution. Positive words give birth to positivity while negative words open the way to negativity and downfall.

Good Things Happen To Good People

No matter how hard it might be

Perhaps the baggage is too heavy to carry

Disappointments here and there

People expecting so much you can’t give

Eventually there will come a time

The light will shine on you

Good things happen to good people.
