Giving You The Best That I Got

I watched #BETAwards last night and I was impressed at  how Jamie Foxx put together some of Anita Baker’s songs. One of the lyrics he emphasized on was ‘giving you the best that I got’ and the question I want to ask is are you giving the best that you got in whatever situation you’ve found yourself?

Giving your best all that you got realistically doesn’t have to do with just a person but also situations surrounding you that need great attention. For instance, you have an exam to write and you got to make good grades otherwise you will be a step backwards from your objective, in that case you got to give it the best that you got. Another case where you need to feed your family, provide shelter, put clothes on your back, what must you do? You got to give it the best that you got…meaning ‘increase your hustle.’

You want your partner to devote his or her heart to you, then you got to give that relationship the best that you got. You’ve got to be strong in life, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

I cry out

I’m dried out

I’m getting out

Can’t go on no more…

Hey stop!!!

You got to give it the best that you got.

Our Secret Place

Away from the prying eyes of everyone judging us

With you alone in the quietness of the night

The calm breeze blowing softly against your skin

In our secret place, I held you gently to my chest

Wishing you would never have to go.

 

In remembrance of those moments

The sensation of your heartbeat bonded us

In anticipation of our first kiss, my heart skipped

Here In our secret place, we made love for the first time

And I knew I would silence the dragons of trouble.

Stab Those Rules To Successful Relationships

I’ve often wondered if there are actually rules to a successful relationship as been told by some relationship experts and so on. What I’m trying to say here is this day to day rules been proposed by them…do they still work?

Has anyone applied some of this rules to their relationships recently and have come out with a successful love affair that has led to lasting relationship or marriag?

However my opinion in retrospect to this rules is that it cannot be 100 percent applied to everyone because a lot of us are wierd especially now that society has gone Gaga….

Sitting and staring into the face of this rules or memorizing them? Haha…it’s best you study your partner and follow your heart….

If living is without you

Would the bells of joy remain?

Would the beauty of life manifest in me?

Would I be fulfilled deep within?

Would anyone else be able to touch the strings in me?

Who can heal me of the turmoil in my heart?

He has asked this question several times, “can I live without you?”

And I have answered him without hesitation, “you can live without me but with me close to your heart”

Indecisions only draw us back from taking what belongs to us, there will come a day when the one we believe is the one for us will decide to take another path because we are still waiting to be sure if he or she is the one….-eddaz

Damn…I cry hard

My heart is bleeding

Subjected to torture

Crying out!! Seeking severely!!

When? How?

Waiting agonizingly​ for dawn to come

Everyday…Every moment…Every striking key

Damn….I cry hard

Stretching my arms out in tears of pain

Dreaming…Meditating…Searching

Confused…Anxious… Impatient

Concurrent spasm of hope jolts my heart

Be patient! It will come!

This are words from my heart to those of us waiting anxiously for the moment we have been waiting; seeking; believing we will achieve that which we know is ours; the success and joy we crave for; It will come, we will get there.
