Who’s Cooking This Thanksgiving

Guess who’s cooking this Thanksgiving? My husband is…🤪😋😇

Who's-Cooking-This-Thanksgiving

I’m so relieved all I have to do when I get back from church where I volunteered to serve food to the homeless is to just stretch out my feet and eat the special dish my husband is making. He did all the grocery shopping yesterday at whole foods before he went out to his job. I’m not sure what he’s making because it’s kind of a surprise but turkey is included🤣😆 and chocolate cookies, oatmeal cookies, Ice cream, wine, Vegetables, Mushrooms, Mitica Parmigiano Regianno(Raw Cow Milk), plus other ingredients.

The last time he cooked me a surprise meal caused a major stomach-toilet issue. I pray it won’t be the same experience this time. God help me…

Happy Thanksgiving to all the lovely people out there😘😍🌺

Things I Find Interesting

Here are the things I find interesting or call it ‘cool’…

-A man showing courtesy to a woman.

-Helping an elderly person with their grocery bag or hand luggage.

-Letting a child know when he’s wrong even if you need to spank him.

-Giving to the less privileged.

-Women demonstrating respect to their husbands regardless of their status.

-Reading and not only writing.

-Saying ‘thank you’

-Blogging my heart out when I have the urge.

-Composing poems for loved ones and making them feel special.

Missing My Heart

Weaving golden baskets tirelessly

Life interlacing ribbons of crop

Body craving for release

My heart groaning to go back home

Pinnacles of thoughts tiptoeing

Searching for settlement

Love tickling in my heart.

I didn’t get much sleep last night, I was on the phone almost all night with my husband gossiping about everything and making plans for our forthcoming trips. I’m away from home at the moment on a working trip, nevertheless, I’m glad I have the opportunity of writing, although my posting time on WordPress blog has been a little bit disrupted due to work schedule.

My work trip is for about two months, which means I have three weeks left, I miss my husband deeply even though I get to go home some weekends and back to work. It hasn’t been easy working far away from home…..

Love Is Found In The Strangest Places

I’ve heard a few stories about where women found their lover boys now husband and where men found their sweet girls now wife. A former neighbor of mine said he found his wife of almost forty years by the side of the road where she waited for a taxi😀😀 he picked her up and dropped her at her destination, they got married after dating… Apparently it’s not so wise to do that now because of the high rate of kidnappings.

Love is found in the strangest places

I have a friend that met his wife through a friend of his, who met a girl on the dating site😮😮…what a referral!! A guy goes online in search for a nice lady and somehow the lady he found ended up in his friends house as wife..What a lucky guy the other one is, regardless of the fact that he never even joined the dating site….WEIRD..

Love can be found in strange places

I used to have a friend that met her husband where she worked..She went there in search of a job and he helped her to facilitate it by presenting her as the better candidate for the job😮😮…Such is life😀 but of course they work in seperate organisations now.

My cousin met her husband on a train in another country. They fell in love and he travelled to her own country to get married to her😘😘

I’m not married yet, hopefully it will be my time soon so that I can share my story too😍😍.

Where did you meet your loved one?

Sleep with My Best Friend’s Husband?

We are all faced with tough decisions in life, some that will take us to the next top level and others might lead to our downfall. This scenario is the case of Benedict; she has asked a question that will determine the next phase of her life.

Benedict’s Story goes thus: I am a single lady and foreigner in another country. I have been in there for close to a year. I have suddenly gotten to cross roads where due to certain reasons I overstayed, and cannot go back to my country but live and survive in this foreign land. Now my best friend’s husband has taken it upon himself to assist me, but of course on one condition, that I must warm his bed anytime he requests, else he will not help me any longer, even so, he will  report my status to the authorities.

I owe my friend a lot as we are childhood friends, I don’t want to betray her trust, but apparently not sleeping with her husband might cost me a lot, he also warned me not to expose his conversation with me to his wife. I am currently at a pressure point that weighs me down each time I think about it and time is not friendly at the moment.

Angry womanI sometimes wish I could tear him apart with my bear hands and move on with my life elsewhere, but I patently cannot do that. I don’t want to harm my bestie’s marriage either, but I truly wish I could end up doing that just to set her free from this maniac of a man she is tied to.

In what manner do I handle this situation as it requires just one decision to set me free from this entanglement?

My opinion: If I were a baddest girl, as in ‘sassy’, then I would sleep with her husband and get what I want….Oops–did i just write that?? I would suggest she stays far way from that family and look for help elsewhere to put an end to all this dilemma…. I know life is not a bed of roses. Notwithstanding, I think men like this ought to be taught one or two lessons to put them back on track.
