Thoughtful Promises

Promises mean a lot

Not to be taken lightly

It’s a seal of wager

Mostly made in the heat of the moment

Consequences of failure not considered

Make a thoughtful promise

Keep to your words.

Do Women Really Fall for Flattery?

Over the years, there has been a saying that ” If you want a woman to comply to your requests, try using flattery to persuade her.” Really I wonder if every or any man can get away with this with all women. It may have worked a couple of times, in fact it has worked 98 percent of the time used.  Flattery plays well with women. YES!  But it doesn’t sit still. She will always refer back to it.

Hank Ketcham- Flattery is like chewing gum. Enjoy it, but don’t swallow it.

Perhaps women have been complying with this over the years.

Flattery is the worst and fastest way of showing our esteem – Jonathan Swift

Flattery is a form of positive energy which men use to compliment or entice women when they need an instant result from them; it’s usually used instead of enforcing them to bend to their will.

Forms of Flattery used on women by men:

  • Men flatter women with words, lies, compliments and gestures.
  • Listening attentively to a woman talk for hours, even when she sounds very boring.
  • Pretending to have turned a new leaf by acting like a saint or being over sincere.
  • Showing interests in her accomplishments even if they make no sense to him.

A woman care about actions more than words, empty juicy flattery with nothing to back it up will only get her to pay attention initially, but will not go too far with her.

No Border to Love

That cultural heritage that says I can’t love you.

Racial unrest causing calamities in our love.

Religious acts erecting agitation in the heart of our love.

Unsettling finances that deprives feeling of love.

Environmental depravation that blinds our love.

A meaningless excuse to crucify love.

Oh lord! The agony of not being able to fulfill my hearts’….

The affection! The love! The desires!

From the pit of my stomach… I ache..I thirst..

I will cross the border;  set across the ocean.

I will break down walls; reject rules just to be with you.

I will; I promise that I will resist the resilience.

I will give love life and a place to blossom.

Is there a location where love cannot meet?

Why would there be boundaries to love?

Why is there so much burden on love?

Set free the altitude in the attitude of love.

One Love! 💞

Season of Green

Greener glow in green.

Thick bark, proud I look to the world,

Tree standing tall among all

Comforter! provider! flawless!

Healer of the sick, richness to the poor.

Darkness descended; forces I see not,

Shields of disappointments came forth,

I turned yellow! I fell! I dried up!

Oh! The pain; all covered in shame I was

Tears I could not shed

Death beseeched me.

Out of the corners of the earth,

A loud sound came; Fear not, ye cried,

Shaft of light glistered from the depth,

Whom I know not came forth.

Thirst I feel no more; downcast no more.

I turned up from earth to the sky again,

I stood out, greener than before,

Tiny tots I bear again! again! again!

Nay he says, the end comes for you not.

You are greener I say; always greener will be.

The Warrior Became Daring

It was a mission that seemed impossible to complete.

After the first battle was fought, he could no longer raise his arms for war. Once the greatest warrior, he now wondered—would he always be?

Before him stood a multitude, their faces stormy and fierce, their cries demanding action. Children reached out, and women dared him to grant the freedom they longed for. He struggled to rise, urged on by the crowd, his strength tested—but he fought. He conquered. He set them free.

At last, he found his lover, pulled her into his bruised, victorious arms, and kissed her with renewed fire.

Be daring. Conquer your battles.
Be daring. Rise to every challenge.
Be daring. Claim what is yours!

Be daring to claim what’s yours!
